The Dally Nightstand from Blu Dot presents a friendly and expressive appeal to its surroundings, starting with an open frame of powder-coated steel with a curving inner shelf set below a softly closing tabletop and upper drawer in wood. The powder-coated steel coordinates well with the color of the steel housing, while the drawer’s angular corners contrast well with the curves of the inner storage space and lower base. The design plays with negative space, offering concealed storage for small accessories up top and a larger bay for medium-sized items like books below.

In 1997, Blu Dot was established in Minneapolis by three college friends with a shared passion for art, architecture and design. Then and today, their goal is to bring good design to as many people as possible, collaborating to create modern home furnishings and accessories that are useful, affordable and exceedingly desirable.
